Akbank raises its score to AA, achieving leader level in the MSCI ESG Ratings, which measures companies’ resilience to long-term environmental, social and governance risks.

MSCI ESG Ratings evaluate an organization’s capacity to manage environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities. Using a rule-based methodology, these ratings assess companies globally, concentrating on their exposure to ESG risks and how effectively they manage these risks in comparison to their sector peers.
